"Procurement Strategies"

The ISPE New Jersey Chapter is pleased to offer a highly respected panel of Professionals who will discuss procurement concerns with owner / supplier relationships and corporate buying philosophies within the pharmaceutical industry. This session is intended to promote open communications between owners and suppliers thus improving future business practices between the groups.

The session will begin with an introduction to procurement. This portion of the program will focus on how to use six sigma type processes to reduce costs and improve supplier performance. It will include an overview of key factors to consider in strategic sourcing, an overview of tools and their application in the process, benefits, case studies and lessons learned.

The introduction session will be followed by a panel discussion. Guest speakers will deliver a short presentation of their positive / negative procurement experiences, current corporate procurement policies and offer suggestions on how to promote and improve future service. A question and answer period will follow.
